The Four Burrow Hunt set off from Shepherds farm, St Newlyn East on Saturday with over 50 riders and supporters enjoying the lovely weather.
A grandfather and grandson celebrated their birthdays together at a unique venue - Newquay Fire Station.Four-year-old Billy-Ray Fitt, and grandfather Terry Fitt share the same birthday on February 19, and the family decided to indulge young Billy"s love of fire engines by spending some time at the station.Billy-Ray was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis at 10 months old and Terry has Parkinson"s Disease.Grandmother Sheila Fitt said: "We had a fabulous day, and Billy really enjoyed it. Billy went home going "nee naw nee naw! The firefighters were wonderful."Billy was allowed to dress up in a mini firefighter outfit, rode on a toy fire engine, and met the giant firefighter character that visits schools to teach fire safety.Sheila added: "It was a lovely day, and it really lifted the family up. We are having to contend with these conditions Billy-Ray and Terry have, but we are just a normal family that enjoys life."
Travel chaos hit Newquay Commuters during rush hour on Friday, 19 February 2009 after an incident on the A3075 at Rejerrah closed the road for several hours.
The A3075 is one of the busiest routes between Newquay and Truro.
