More than 7,000 raised for charities at gardens

Visitors to The Lost Gardens of Heligan over the festive period proved it really was the season of giving after helping to raise more than £7,000 when the gardens opened their gates for charity on Boxing Day and New Year’s Day.

Heligan welcomed more than 3,000 visitors, who came to walk off the festive excesses, blow away the cobwebs and enjoy a winter stroll through the historic, 200-acre estate with their friends and families...
