Doctor defends his analysis of Minor Injury Unit “proposals"

THE NHS has accused a report claiming it will be scrapping Cornwall’s Minor Injury Units of “scaremongering.”

Dr Peter Levin’s report - “NHS in Cornwall poised to close Minor Injury Units” - highlights plans by Cornwall’s NHS to close ten MIUs - including St Austell - and replace them with just four Urgent Treatment Centres.

Under the plans Dr Levin said only Camborne, Penzance, Liskeard and Truro would survive as one of the new centres...

Hi St Austell has the highest population in Cornwall (27000) so they chose to close the MIU tel me that makes any SENCE. If this is even near happening we should all get together and fight it.
