Job Description

TCC provide specialist care teams for individuals who live within

their own homes. Our client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord

Injury, Acquired Brain Injury and other Neurological Conditions.

We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to form a new, specialist care team. You will be working with a gentleman who has a Spinal Cord Injury and is living in his own home in the St Austell area.

Shift Pattern: 14 hour day shifts with sleepovers. You will be working within a team providing care and support all year round. This will include working weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis. Part time team members must be able to work a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Essential Criteria. The right candidates will be friendly, enthusiastic, motivated, reliable and committed. You must have previous care experience and hold a full driving licence.

You must also like/not be afraid of cats and dogs as these are present in the home.

Desirable Criteria. Previous experience in Spinal Injury Care and Urostomy care would be advantageous, but is not essential as full specialist training will be provided

You will be assisting this gentleman with all aspects of personal care. You will also be a required to support the client in social activities, along with his interests which include gardening and cooking.Please note that this is a non-smoking environment.
