TCC provide specialist care teams for individuals who live within their own homes.
Our client base is varied and includes Spinal Cord Injury, Acquired Brain Injury and other Neurological Conditions.
We have an opportunity for a Female Support Worker to join a specialist care team, providing care and support to a lady who has a spinal cord injury and is living in her own family home in the Newquay area.
Essential Criteria. The right candidate will be caring, enthusiastic, young at heart and motivated, with a good sense of humour and not be afraid to take direction. You will also ideally be friendly and sociable, as well as reliable and committed to your shifts.
Desirable Criteria. Previous spinal cord injury care experience would be advantageous, but not essential as full specialist training will be provided.
Ideally you will like/not be afraid of animals – particularly dogs.
Please note that this is a non-smoking environment.
Shift Pattern: You will work 0900-1200 shifts five days per week on a rota basis, including some weekend and Bank Holiday working.
